I understand the pressures people face, the lack of time for exercise after a hard day at work, the fear of trying out new approaches to health. My professional qualifications give me the knowledge to help people try different ways to tackle old problems. We don’t have to commit to self-denial but we can all make small changes to become more active and healthier. It’s all about helping people to feel better.
Susan qualified as a Registered Dietitian in 1992 at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. She worked in the food industry for 20 years before starting her private practice in Canada, and then moved to London to study for her Masters at the University of Roehampton, where she specialised in the treatment of obesity.
While studying for her Masters, Susan researched the diagnosis and treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and lectured in the Dietetics Department at the London Metropolitan University. Susan has an eCertificate from Cornell University in plant-based nutrition.
Since qualifying in 1992 Susan has worked in hospitals, schools and in the community. Her private practice offers tailored nutritional education to patients, clients and students, and she formerly worked for the Government of Jersey’s Public Health department, helping families facing obesity to live healthy lives.
